The Residential Building was developed to harmonize with its surroundings. For this we use curves, balconies and gardens as a way of inserting the volume into the landscape, smoothing the contours.

Located on the Northwest slope, between Rua Zodíaco and Avenida Terra, in the Santa Lúcia neighborhood, the land has a strictly residential environment.

​

The implantation of the building on the land presents a permeable area of 38.7%, when the rate required by the law of land use and occupation is 20%. All boundaries are preserved from any type of construction because the building only touches them underground. The lateral distances are 20m on the left side and 26m on the right side and the minimum distance required by law is 15m. The top of the roof of the building is located below the highest point of the surroundings, in Praça do Sol, which guarantees the preservation of the image of Serra do Curral.

From a geological point of view, this enterprise bears the characteristics of a geosupported settlement because, contrary to the prevailing practices of current civilization, all the characteristics of the geological environment are used for the benefit of the enterprise, all the positive side effects are identified and taken advantage of.
