Village Terrasse Residence
The house, guarded from outside looks, faces the mountains in the landscape. The external wall, virtually blind and impenetrable, opposes the wide, unobstructed view provided by the glass walls, in total transparency.
The white wall extends the appropriation of the airspace with the lines designed by the beams, reinforcing the idea of a unique object, made with simple gestures.
All spaces of the house are developed in one level, thus making simple the relations among the many functions and, at the same time, allowing for an integral exercise of all the interconnected areas.
The options for integration or isolation are controlled by the integrated aluminum framing system that allow for many possibilities. The house can become fully interconnected or be kept withheld, guaranteeing the privacy of the internal spaces whenever needed.
The internal area, with its openings to the front yard, and the long view of the valley have their passways sheltered and lighted by a long internal garden along the posterior wall.
The large spans and the structural cleanness ensure the quality of the architectural object in its whole.
In the external area, the suspended swimming pool forms the L-shaped deck, bringing a feeling of continuation and expansion of the grass garden.
