Morumbi Residence

The “Morumbi House”, located the Jardim Pignatari Residential Complex, is built on a sloping lot neighboring tract of woods belonging to the oscar americano foundation.

The steepest part of the lot has been preserved and the building “steps” back, thus creating a large front slope.

The lower floor is located 3.0 m above street level, and it is the main access for vehicles and pedestrians, where the entrance hall, cellar, half- bath, studio / “arts space”, and services are located. The garage accommodates up to 6 cars.

The rest of the house sits on the slope. At this level, all parts of the house are connected and visible, allowing an overall view.

A big lawn and the pool are on the intermediate floor, surrounded by covered common areas here and there. The overhead clearance of the living room is twice the norm. The dining room, balcony and spa are “framed” by the foundation’s woods.

The office, private living room, guest rooms and master suites are located upstairs, all overlooking the main garden and facing the morning sun.
