It is a happy house, filled with green and light.
The 1,000m2 land demanded a solution in elongated form, uniting the front and the back with green-tinged spaces.
The utility room and services area are in the back of the house, so all service operations take place without interfering with the social area.
This boundary separating moments and functions is a huge, tall, continuous partition that has many levels and surprises and longitudinally crosses the whole volume.
The uppermost part follows this dynamics, reminding us of the roof arrangements of the old mineiro houses.
Because of the flexible project, the internal organization can always be changed.
There is also a sense of cohesion; everything in the house, people and activities, coexist and interact. There is no place for loneliness.
The ambiance, in its whole and in its parts, reminds us that the spirit needs more room than the body.
