The Belvedere Residence, located at Jardim Piemonte – Belvedere, was settled on the terrain following contour lines, thus avoiding earth movement. On the lower level, 1,5m below the street, are the entrance hall, the living room, the dining room, the home office and the kitchen. On the outside are the veranda, the grass terrace, the deck, the swimming pool and the volume that houses the dressing room and the steam room, also accessible through the garage.
The garage is wide enough for four cars and, like all other services areas in the residence, is located underground. On the first floor is located the private part of the residence – four bedroom suites, a living room and the terrace.
This construction is in accordance with the clearance requirements and is positioned on an east-west axis, with most of its openings facing the Curral Range
Both the vehicular entrance and the pedestrian access are done by ramps. Aside from the 3m required clearance, the house actually retreats a bit more, leaving room for a front yard. From the entrance, we can view the set of white, blind planes, the tree planted on that yard and the portal marking the entrance of the house, revealing the ground and the sky.
